Made in house — mended in house

Repairs

We cut and sew every garment ourselves, which means we can put one back together. The mending is free for as long as you own the piece. You cover the postage each way. Send us the damage and we will tell you honestly whether it can be fixed.

How it works

1

Photograph the damage

Lay the garment flat in daylight. One wide shot, one close on the damage.

2

Send us the details

Fill in the form below with your order number and what happened.

3

We tell you straight

We look at it and come back with whether it can be fixed, and what that involves.

4

Ship it to the studio

Clean and dry, with the reference we give you, at your cost. We confirm the address once we take the job on.

5

We mend it, free

On the same machines it was made on. You pay nothing for the work itself, however long it takes us.

6

Buy the label, get it back

We send a payment link for return postage at cost. It ships the day that clears.

Start a repair

Tell us what happened and we will come back with whether we can fix it and where to send it. Do not ship anything until you hear from us. When it is mended we send a payment link for the return label, then it goes back out the same day it is paid.

Photographs make this much faster. Send them to support@lovethepain.com

We answer repair requests within two working days.

Questions

Does it have to be a Love The Pain garment?

Yes. We only work on garments we made, because we know the fabric, the seam construction and what will hold.

What does it cost?

The repair is free — labour, thread, fabric, all of it, for as long as the garment is yours. What you pay is postage: getting it to us, and a return label you buy from us once it is done. We charge that at cost, not as a service fee.

How do I pay for the return label?

When your garment is mended we email a payment link for the exact postage. Pay it and the piece goes back out the same day. Nothing is held hostage — if you would rather arrange your own courier collection, say so and we will have it ready.

How long does it take?

Three to five weeks from the day it reaches us. We are a small studio and repairs run alongside production, so we would rather quote you honestly than promise a week and miss it.

What if it cannot be saved?

We will tell you plainly rather than return something that will fail again on the next ride or run. If it is beyond repair we will say so.

Will the repair be invisible?

Not always, and we would rather be honest about that. A patch or a reinforced panel is visible. It is also a record of the thing you did in it.

Do custom and team kit qualify?

Yes. Team and custom pieces come back to the same studio, though a full panel replacement may depend on whether we still hold that fabric.

Should I wash it first?

Please do. Clean and dry, no exceptions — anything else gets sent straight back.
